During the week I write software and models for jet engine ice crystal icing. I'm part of the Engine Icing Group at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute, University of Oxford.
I'm writing I've written a paper! It's called Anisotropic turbulent dispersion of particles for the prediction of total water content distribution in ice crystal icing (catchy name), and I'm taking it to ASME Turbo Expo 2026 in Milan this June.
I play the fiddle at Irish sessions across Oxford & sometimes further afield.
I'm musical director at the Oxford University Ceilidh Band, Oxford's student folk music society.
