At work, I'm writing software to model ice crystal icing in altitude icing wind tunnels and jet engines (broadly, simulating millions of particles of ice, and seeing where they end up and what state they end up in). I'm part of the Icing Group at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute.

I'm a trad fiddle player, mostly Irish/Scottish, mostly in pubs around Oxford. I'm (still!) musical director at the Oxford University Ceilidh Band, Oxford's student society for folk music.
