During the week I write software and models for jet engine ice crystal icing. I'm part of the Icing Group at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute, University of Oxford. My first paper has been accepted for presentation at ASME Turbo Expo 2026 in Milan, 15–19 June.
I play the fiddle at Irish sessions across Oxford, and sometimes London and further afield. The next event I'll be at is Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival, 3–5 April.
I'm (still) musical director at the Oxford University Ceilidh Band, Oxford's student society for folk music.
